Three point turn in a 732

Just received a series of pics in an email. The story is that this 737-200 landed at Hoedspruit in South Africa in the dark and took the wrong taxiway to a dead-end. He attempted a three-point turn using reverse thrust but dropped the wheels off the concrete with the consequence seen in the photo. In a vain attempt to get out he put full thrust on and destroyed the engines by ingesting debris.
Didn't work, though

Don't worry Ian.. I'm off there tomorrow.. as a visitor and not a patient

Actually, it's not a clinic but a full blown hospital! I have my mom in one ward admitted a week ago and my dad in another.. admitted on Friday. Oh what joy

Oh dear. Sorry to hear that, mate. It sounds like you're going through one of those 'difficult' times. Nothing you can do but battle on through as best you can dealing with each drama one at a time and one day it sorts itself out.
Good luck and fingers crossed for your parents.

Thks guys

It's very much the begining of the end for them both but one is rather closer than t'other. While we, as offsprings, always know this time will come.. we never quite know how it will happen or what form it will take and however you imagine it.. the chances are you're gonna be wrong. This is certainly what's happening for me
Anywho.. I appreciate your thoughts
