What else would you expect having a Liberal Democrat as defence minister.

He'll probably want the money saved to be used in a leaflet drop over Libya, politely asking them to stop fighting each other.

You know your Navy is in shit state when the vessel that holds the highly prestigious title of flagship is an LPD...

I always thought that Victory was the notional flagship, at least it's in a better state than that dog-eared lump.

Or are we supposed to be looking at the tug?

Victory hasn't been the 'fleet' flagship for a very long time but she continues on as flagship for the Commander-in-Chief Naval Home Command (CINCNAVHOME). From what I remember of tours I used to do on Victory years ago (no.. not that long ago!) she is also the oldest commissioned warship in the world. See.. we don't have much but what we do have has a little history :lol:
