I saw it on the news this evening. That limo is rather long and not very high off the deck Only a small detail but a very embarrassing one to get wrong. I'd not like to be the bloke responsible

I'm surprised they didn't just push it off with the second limo.

BTW, there's at least 6 "Beasts", of which at least 2 or 3 usually are in the convoy, so no telling which one he was actually in.

I almost think there was a suspension malfunction on that one anyway because if you look at the front wheels, they're fully collapsed on the suspension. I don't think they're supposed to be that far down at any time.

I blame the CIA for not giving the suspension clearance

Trott do I really have to explain how auto leveling systems work?

I would have thought the CIA, being well educated, would have tried the run before. They obviously do not have a grounding in vehicle dimensions! Or in this case the opposite, they do.

I remember when Reagan visited West Germany they had to take the running boards off the side of the limo as it wouldn't go through a narrow archway. (I think it was either at Deidesheim or Hambach Castle. It's a long time ago!)
