Those are some nice pictures. What was the sortie you were flying?

Ah very good.
I often try creating myself various sorties, normally with the Vulcan or other "cold-war" aircraft but I always seem to bore myself, despite doing the planning and timings, navigation fixes etc.
I just need a bit more imagination I suppose!

As Columbo would say; er, just one more thing!
Which Canberra is that? It Looks a good model.
You've put me in the mood to plan myself a sortie of some kind now. I just need to dig deep into my inspiration banks.

It's good fun, I took off from Luqa transited east @ 18,000 then climbed to 28,000 and flew an east west race track south of Akrotiri, then finally descended returning to Luqa all IFR over water @ night....

Not shore if the real Canberra had an auto pilot but the model needs one LOL [I have messaged on the Flyingstation forums as the new variants do have one and I think there’s plans to add it at some point.]
I enjoy the Vulcan also been using the IRIS one, 617 in anti flash hooning about! superb ive even done some mplayer with friends online and simulated interceptions with Alpha sims F-89 & Gloster Javelin.
It's the Flyingstations TT17.

1960's repaint:-
http://www.flyingstations.com/repaints-can-tt.html
"This repaint represents Canberra T.17, WK111 'B' of 360 Sqn, Royal Air Force, on detachment to RAF Luqa, Malta, late 1960s. This aircraft was scrapped in 1995 at RAF Wyton, but the cockpit maybe preserved. Wyton."

Sounds good. I have the IRIS Vulcan and the anti-flash does it for me too!
I used to have the Just Flight one back in my FS9 days and the autopilot was more authentic, I.e. an IAS climb function etc.
I may be dreaming it, but I'm sure there was a website years ago that gave lots of mission scenarios. For a Vulcan, for example, it would specify home base, an objective such as convention simulated bombing run on Lerwick Airport, timings and areas to avoid. There were loads of them for allsorts of aircraft but I'm beginning to think I've dreamt it now!

That does look like a nice model.
I wonder if I can disturb the moths from my wallet?

Hi Sam Ro,
just read your post and it has prompted me to finally get off my backside and amend this. I have now issued a small add-on download that allows you to add the autopilot and stores release 2D pop up panels seen in the latest packs. This would retrofit the B.1, B.2, Bomber Power, Tugs & Trainers and Exports: SA packs.
The zip file will give you the necessary files to go in your main FS9/Gauges/SB_CAN folder. There is also a panel.cfg that you can paste the necessary lines of code into your Canberra's panel/panel.cfg file to add the autopilot and stores release panels. When the entire project is finished, I will go through and retrofit all packs to include this code as well.

Hope this helps. Love the T.17 screens
