Hi Rich,

I don't think i have watched and enjoyed a video for a long time, thats the way to fly!!

Anyone going off on their Hols who may be nervous of flying want to watch this one, that will cure them

Thats an old C47 and it was the first aircraft i flew in and as it was a ex paratroop plane it was about as good as the interior in this one and it was minus the door!

Thanks so much for posting it,

Cheers,

Roger.

PS , i think i'll try my C47 in FS2004 if i can find some of those airstrips, that might be interesting!

A wonderful bit of film, even if the drama at the opening was overdone. Storm ? Turbulence ? The airstrips are extraordinary , and I admired the nerve and skill involved . It was noteworthy just how professional these two were , in comparison with another bit of film posted about 12 months ago involving taking a DC 8 into Quito , where the Pilot Flying was pratting about during the approach

...I must say I'd love to see that too... do you remember the link or the headline it was posted under? :)

Many thanks & Cheers,

Actually, I think it was Fortaleza and not Quito . This may be the one, ( the method is light hearted to put it mildly) although my recollection was that PF was in the right hand seat and wearing a baseball hat and jigging about as though he had St Vitus Dance. I shall continue looking ....
