I remember those louvres from somewhere - I think a local retirement village has a couple like this, for recapturing escapees :dunno:

Looks like a heavily modified Fiat 850(?), originally '50s - '60s. It was a bit like the Volkswagon Microbus, only smaller.

Hi Myles

No mods, it's original except for one of the oem wicker seats.
You are correct in saying it's a Fiat.

Mike
With a 60cc engine putting out roughly 16 hp, the zimmers had a good chance of out running one of these. ;)

When this was first posted, my thought was 'FIAT'. However, I looked at more Google pages of Fiat that I care to talk about (I've forgotten how many it was anyway) I didn't see one single shot of this particular monster so gave up  At least I was right in assuming it's a Fiat ;)

Can't believe thats a standard motor. Looks hacked to pieces! :-O

I was going to say a chopped up VW Camper van til I discovered its a Fiat.

Interesting vehicle whatever the hell it is. :agree:

That's what I asked Rick when I saw it Eddie
"Wuuut tha hellisthat"

Here is an interesting tidbit.
It's owed by the first husband of one of the Pulitzer girls.

Ha! - I thought the lamp clusters were wrong for a VW. Now the memory bank is dredging up images of a sort of mini people mover from the early 1960s from Fiat, a very teardrop shaped thing; was it a Ballila?

But those wicker bench seats are a close match.
