There might be another R1 to go but I read somewhere where it was going they couldn't take it *-)

Speaking to an R1 mate, by the time they appear as RJs out of the L3 workshops, they'll be new jets to all intents and purposes, even if the USAF tail number disagrees. Even before conversion, considering they're 45ish years old, they've not got all that many hours on - less that 500/yr on average. :)
