Smoke for VC10 in FSX

I want to alter the aircraft file for the VC10 (and the 1-11, Trident etc.) so the smoke looks like it's coming out of the engines! Is there somewhere I can get all this info? 
The coord system was changed in FSX (god knows why!), so where it was x,y,z,name of smoke effect in FS9 it's now y,z,x,name of smoke effect.
