Re: JustFlight -Viscount
I have to give them a bit of support, I did some beta testing (in fact still have the beta, forgot to apply fom my free retail one!) and as a 'General' product, I think it is good enough for 99% of the folk who will buy it. The main JF target audience is casual buys at PC World etc. who just want to fly something other than a Cessna or Airbus.
If someone had been able to make Rick's a native FSX with a detailed VC (up to DM standards), that would be great, however a lot of JF customer's would not where to find it! I think we take a certain amount for granted that all FS users are expert enthusiasts......(from what I see) they are clearly not!

Hi Trev..
No.. I think most of us are aware that a large proportion.. the larger proportion of JF customers are not expert enthusiasts. For their sins, I doubt many of them are aware of 'freeware' either

I have no problem with payware being poor
If it is general then say so
But JF alway harp on about how accurate their stuff is and that I take issue with

Re: JustFlight -Viscount
Hi all,
I thought I'd have a search around on Avsim and here to see what everyone thought of the new JF Viscount. I nearly got run over by one at Jersey when I was spotting there as a little kid in 1976 - ah happy memories
It's a pity as some of their other aircraft (Flying Club X PA28/Seneca) are pretty much on the numbers performance-wise. Also from the screenshots I''ve seen the exterior model does look wrong.
Looks like I'll be sticking to Rick's wonderful 748 for now
Regards,
Adam

So here it is.....................

Model is poor
Cockpit is average
External sound is very wrong
Internal sound is... perhaps Fraser should have a listen and see if he comes to the same conclussion as I did.

It doesn't take an expert in searching Youtube to find an example of what it should sound like and copy it.
