New Carvair available soon..

Post by jensbk »

Hello all,

Maarten Brouwer and I have had a Carvair model in the works for some time, and it's almost finished by now! It will include a lot of paint schemes, a VC, and a dedicated FSX version in the "native" model format as well as an FS2004 version. I just have to write the manual , create the setup files and check for errors. It will be a matter of weeks, I hope, before we release it.

The basic model is, of course, based on my (Jens) DC-4, with the neccessary changes. Two panel configurations, one for the standard version, another (more DC-4 like) version for the Ansett Carvairs.

We hope you like it when it comes out!

Jens & Maarten

PS: We hope the Carvair qualifies as 'Classic British' :)

I've recently started flying again after a long absence and due to my total addiction to 'Ice Pilots' have been flying your models a lot, especially the Buffalo painted ones, I'll look forward to this one too.

I've always been a fan of your work Jens, the subject choices are always unusual and interesting, the handling characteristics are always very smooth, but most of all your aircraft always seem to have 'character', and that's why I'm also looking forward to this release.

Good news. Hopefully there will be a few paints released for it.

Christmas is almost here. I wonder if they'll surprise us today with the Carvair? Hope so. :)

It seems every payware product under development has been 'rushed' out in the past 24 hours (there is only so much money available guys!), but Freeware devs do not have this worry! I wil be happy with a Carvair, whenever it is ready! Not flown one since FS2002 or FS2000!
