Hello Chaps,
Does anyone know of a decent Lightning, payware or other for FS9?

Alpha's Lightning was good externally but I though poor on the cockpit.

I've heard tell of another Austrailian company who do a payware version but I can't find it anywhere.

All ideas gratefully received!

Paul

Hi Paul..

Kind regards

PS It is the old Alpha one because as Dave says they're now based in Aus.

Thanks!

Bought and installed!

I'll now have to get to grips with the thing. My only problem is, and I can see it coming already is my lack of imagination!

I've previously bought the Iris Vulcan and the Flying Stations Canberra. Both excellently modelled aircraft but after a few hours of flights I get bored.

After scrambling my Vulcan and heading east, or doing some bombing range runs in my Canberra they sort of loose appeal. Does anyone else find this? If not, how do others get the enjoyment out of military aircraft on FS?

Get an airshow airfield, Farnborough, Duxford etc and plan out and execute an airshow routine within the confines of the fly zone around the airfield, remembering not to overfly spectator areas.

I didn't know the EE Lightning wasn't British?

Hi Simon :)

It's only not British in the sense that the model is being sold by the Australian based company, Virtavia.. once upon a time known as Alphasim ;)

The Mil fast jets i normally take for a spin in the Valleys or Cumbria. The Biggies i take down to Gib or Malta or Akritori etc, sometimes with low level work. The nimrod gets to go very low hunting out my AI shipping :excited:

Hmm.. page under construction *-)

It may just be having a revamp John though they're normally a bit more professional than that.
