Damn The Cost Of That First Scratch

After much planning and a kit made up, plus special tools etc, the repairs are underway with the VH-OQA, the Airbus A.380 that suffered an engine blow out
Cost is reportedly $130,000,000
But with a non discounted list price of $300,000,000 it's far from a write off.
The cost of replacement parts and the logistics of repair are mind-boggling.
Not as if you could get your family and a few neighbour over to hold the wing in position while you bolt it on.
You need a ladder to change the under fuse beacon
