Guy's..

A number of you have had difficulty getting onto the forum today. I'm not sure why today and not yesterday as I've no idea what might have happened behind the scenes. However, those of you having difficulty (logging in and not being logged in).. please log into the homepage at our new server address.. www.cbfsim.co.uk , navigate to the forum pages from the homepage and login there. Save this to your favorites and let it overwrite the old address. Delete the old icon off your desktop and drag the newly saved one there instead. There are any number of ways you can achieve the same end so use whatever method you're comfortable with :)

DO NOT use the old .org address

Sri for the inconvenience some of you have experienced ;)

Dave

Just had that problem so just as well I found my way to your post.

The old .org site still comes up (but that may be in a local cache - will try clearing that). Even allows me to enter my name and password and shows me logged in. 10 seconds later I'm logged out.

Not sure about the cache situation - just cleared that and I can still see a post at 1806 today on the org site.

Hi Chaps,

The master plan has a slight flaw. The idea was that we could use the .co.uk or .org addresses after migration. In actual fact, while the rest of the site will quite happily exist as bothe .co.uk and .org, the forum software doesn't like the .org address when it was initially configured with the .co.uk.

In short, please use http://www.cbfsim.co.uk address going forward.

Appologies for the confusion.
