Re: A new DH-89?
I can almost smell that cockpit Dave...superb
Your Auster was truly a work of art and I can see that this one is going to be another favourite of mine and I know that it will be worth the wait for all the 'Rapide' fans on here...well done that man.

Beautiful work Dave G. I went up in one of the Classic Wings Rapides a few years back with my two young daughters, and they both still mention it from time to time. ( It was the green and cream one thats now in RAF colours, by the way ). Much looking forward to its release, as and when.
And welcome, Adam.

Thanks chaps Hopefully it'll be worth the wait
Does anyone have any specific features they'd like to see incorporated? No promises, but I'll see what can be done within reason.

Actually.. I think Brian hit the nail on the head. I'd like to be able to smell fuel A constant vibration would be nice too but let's not go there Oh.. lob the 2D panel in too please with DM's 'Seat height' adjust code thrown in.. and.. do all the VA paints too. OK.. I know I overstepped the mark with that one

Old sailors never die.. they just smell that way!
Re: A new DH-89?
As in your previous one, it would be nice if passengers can be added / removed via the load menu in FSX. You are probably going to do this anyway, but I thought I would mention it. And as Dave B says, a 2D panel for those who prefer it.DaveG wrote:Thanks chaps Hopefully it'll be worth the wait

Chocks and steps on shutdown are always nice and maybe the same magic you did on your other Rapide if time allows with user configurable one or two wing generators and the alternative window configurations would cover the military/Civil variants. The Pax adjust idea is great too.DaveG wrote:Thanks chaps Hopefully it'll be worth the wait

I am sure that there will be a plethora of liveries on release or soon after but my all time favourite has got to be BEA of course...all this resurgence of 'Rapido' talk has got us all drooling again.
Another 'Garwood' masterpiece eagerly awaited

Re: A new DH-89?
Yes, FSX only I'm afraid.
All the configurable / optional parts in the existing model will be kept.
I'm toying with a proper Dominie version, but I don't have enough reference material for the interior at the moment.
