"This is a tribute to a classic of the golden day's of air travel the VC10, her day's are numbered now but on the 29th of June 2012 this classic would have been flying for 50 years,in various guises. I have used David Matlby's brilliant VC10's ,and created 7 of my favorite liverys, including BOAC..CALEDONIAN..MEA..GHANA..BUA.. plus two RAF versions some with photo real parts. I have removed all the Mipmaps for sharper looking aircraft. Have flown this 2004 VC10 in FSX in both vista SP1 & SP2 and windows 7 SP1 with no problems. 2d panels but no VC. Painted by Stephen Browning"

I thought all those liveries were already included, if he has done new versions they should be released as liveries not with the aircraft in a pack, right? Sounds as if he has just rmoved the mipmaps so that it uses the highest detail livery for all viewing distances, hardly new liveries just an edit.

I haven't downloaded it yet to see but I bet he hasn't swapped the smoke trails co-ordinates for FSX either.

The fact he is a painter and mentions photoreal parts I think means he has re done the liveries

Still, he should not be uploading the model.

He has done a load of pacakges with 'improvements'

I await someone else downloading and checking it out on my behalf, 80Mb at Simviation is a long d/l and I don't have the patience nor the inclination.
Oh for DM to VC this model would make my day.

I cant see a problem with it as it complies with the uploading requirements contained within the read me file.

I still can't download and check it, Simviation not connecting as before (always).

I downloaded this and to be honest the textures are rough, no anti aliasing so all the curves are like sawteeth! Tails badly done, used photos but poor quality. I would not have thought this was an upgrade at all
