Re: Vulcan Repaint
Hi Tom..
I'm sure that if either the Gaffer or Jason see this thread (especially Jason) they'd do it for you. I've looked at all the available paints I can find for the PSS Vulcan (and other Vulcans too) and none show a white underside except the all white 'anti radiation' paints. For Jason to do this with his paintkit, it would be a simple matter. For me to do it without a paintkit, it's a whole different ball game.
Fingers crossed it'll be sorted for you

Re: Vulcan Repaint
Ah.. that's the one I couldn't find then found it while packing to move and decided I'd never use it again so lobbed it in the bin
What Tom wanted wasn't a B1 anyway John.. it was a pre-ECM fit B2 and the PSS Vulcan comes in a variety of those

Re: Vulcan Repaint
Hi all
After searching some disks i can't seem to find all my PSP's for the PSS/Just Flight Vulcan If i find them then i'll do the scheme requested easily but at the moment time is against me in other ways aswell. Plus im working on the DSB/IRIS Hawks and just started the KBT F/A-18E/F's which ive always wanted to paint as i hate the schemes it was released in.
I'm happy for anyone else to work and change my originals for 554 (DaveB hehe)
Kind regards to all

Thanks for that Jason I found the black nose and looked again at the phot and the penny dropped.. white underside! Should your PK turn up in the future, you have one waiting to do

Re: Vulcan Repaint
Hi Tom..
You can get it HERE
Unfortunately, the model can't be painted exactly like shown in that photo because of the way it's been texture mapped.. certain bits pull colour from certain areas and nothing can be done to change that. However, this paint doesn't look too bad and is closer now than it was.. as close now as it can be
To install, drag the 2 textures out of the zip and drop them into your 554 texture folder. Either backup the originals first (should you want to keep the grey underside) or let them overwrite. The chap who did the white underside will be pleased you like the end result
