Hi All
Here's an odd one....Was doing a 'test flight' in my HS 748 using FSX and clear skies (whilst I get used to the AC) when I noticed a smoke trail following my AC...underneath..... :worried: I Don't have any 'smoke' in the cfg....using the FSX cfg kindly provided...so not clear what it is... :S

Image
Does anyone please have any ideas as to what it might be please??
Thanks
Ralphc

Hi Ralph. This is an FSX bug. If you take off from a wet runway, the spray effect stays under the aircraft regardless of altitude or if the weather dries up. We noticed it years ago, I think it was when we were testing Daves Hunters or Ricks Hawk. It happens with the default FSX aircraft too.

Hi Ben...
Thanks so much for the reply...Well I never! :dunno: Not seen it before *-) Anyway, not to worry, I'll have to fly in clouds from now on. Still enjoy the AC though..now I can keep the engines running ;)
Best Wishes

Hi Ralph,

The other trick is to leave from a dry runway ;)

You want to know rain? Come to B.C. The council recently decided to start charging us for mains water, so I thought, get a rain barrel, 65 gallons, it filled up this afternoon in 3 hours.
