Wondering if anyone has info on them. I'm looking for some tea mugs. I've found some on ebay but they don't fill the bill. Anyone?
Thanks
Joe

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply
I saw that one but they didn't show the cups I'm looking for. I also looked over eBay's listings but it's used stuff.
I was hoping someone might know a shop where they are sold in the UK. Specifically in Staffordshire.
The search is not for myself but for someone I do work for.
I know this may seem trivial, but when She gets her mind made up .... well, who am I too argue.

Understood, Joe.

Doesn't look good - this was dated 2009:

Hi Mike
I have a phone number for Crown Trent at the address mentioned in the article you posted.
Now to get a volunteer in the area of Staffordshire to give them a ring to see if they are still in buisness.
Thanks again Mike.

My AV alerted me when I hit that website too. Kinda strange for a ceramics website I thought.

I've not been to the 'Trojan' site but there are zillions of other references to Crown Trent on Google. Are you trying to find a picture of the one you want then see if you can find one? How old is the piece you have/want.. not that it matters much. The wife's family came from that area and she seems to think it's quite modern as it doesn't ring a bell. Perhaps Crown Trent are what became of Churchill when it folded

Again, that matters not one jot

Not much cop am I really

Morning, Dave.
The mug has a garden / flower motif on a straight tubular style vessel. The handle has a ear shape ( w/o a lobe). These are not antique by any means so nowt anything like that to worry about.
The bone china is thin making it somewhat translucent. Which she is particular about.
At any rate, it looks like she'll have to settle for an eBay offering. Which is a problem ( although beit a small one) since I'll have to create an account for them as well a a PayPal. Not to mention explain how it all works ... and then play the twenty questions game.
Only to hear the inevitable .... that's too much information.
< then I'll mumble under breath.. Well you axed me>
.... sometimes I feel sooo under appreciated ... boo hoo
Always appreciate you guys though.
