Hi guys
For those in the Northern Hemisphere it's apparently a good night to catch a meteor shower.
The Perseids.

I'll be out having a look for sure.
Although its rather cloudy here at the minute.

Hi Eddie,
I read an article on the meteor shower yesterday. Our best veiw will be early Sunday morning looking to the northeast.
However our weather outlook looks to be the same as yours.

Rgr that Joe.
I don't hold much hope for a clear night to be honest.
Oh well. I did see the ISS fly over last night.
And she was bright!

Latest news (for the Midlands) said very early AM would be best here. We can expect it to cloud over soon after. That makes a change doesn't it!

I was working nights covering the rural side of the patch where there's no light pollution and saw it. A solid white object, no flashing green or red and moving far too fast to be an aircraft. Scared me half to death it was so bright. My partner in crime (or I guess that should be partner in anti-crime) was convinced it was an alien invasion!
Kept an eye out for the meteor shower last night but sadly it was far too cloudy and I was back working urban where there's street lights (and criminals) everywhere

Just had the dog out for her last ablutions of the day and remembered this. Looked up and whizz.. saw one flash past in a second

I stood waiting to see another for 5mins longer.. by which time the dog had had enough and gone inside!
