Congratulations, Ben. Have a day off from loading W8 and let your family and friends have the pleasure of spoiling you for the day.

Oh yes - and get a bit tiddly

Cheers chaps :)

Not much chance of any of that happening today Ian as I'm doing some work for my second job. Not that it really matters, the wife only managed to get me a card because I took her round to ASDA last night at 9:30 :| Rapidly enhancing my grumpy old man status getting ready for 40 in a few years. Can you imagine if I'd left it to the night before her birthday and then said, can you run me round to ASDA to get your birthday card... I don't think I'd still be walking. Its a different generation that's for sure. Forgetfulness I can Handle, god knows I'm the worlds worst (yes Dave, I know I need to put that book in the post lol) but to make no effort. :|
She did manage to find enough effort / money to buy herself 2 books from amazon yesterday though. I think I'll just try and forget this one, roll on 38

Ahhh.. married bliss

Just look at it from her side. Not only does she have a tot to look after, she has a grumpy young/old man too

Go and have a beer then come back and add a 12core i7 to basket. You'll know you'll feel better and it'll be something you want  (look away Colin)

All the best for your Birthday, mate! You share yours with my wife and dog!
What's this about your wife and another generation? Just how young IS she????
Cheers, Mike.

So.. 'you're as old as the woman you feel' comes into play here :-O I was 3 months older than my first wife, I'm 7 years older than the current version and that's my lot. I'm not getting stung again  Get a puppy mate. They'll chew your house to smitherines, do their ablutions everywhere until house-trained but at the end of the day, they'll always be glad to see you, they don't ask for much and they'll never answer back. You can tell em anything and it'll go no further, they're great listeners and they don't give a sh1t how much you've just spent. Out a few times a day to vent tanks.. dinner at the prescribed time.. a bit of fuss (when they ask for it).. job done ;)

Don't worry mate.. we'll still love ya even when the rest of the world turns it's back  There's a lot to be said for CBFS and speaking from experience, I dunno what I'd have done over the last 12months had I not been able to come here and escape ;)
