Classic British Flight Sim

theres a BAC strikemaster that has been to another, closer airport to me recently.
its registration is C=GXDK

woukld like to have it paibnted for flightsim on whoever created the strikemaster

I'm pretty sure our Rick never released his Strikemaster. Are you getting confused with one made by another group?

How come Rick never released and what happened to his site.

I don't think it ever got finished Thomas, your talking 10 years ago and a lot of stuff can happen in the real world in 10 years

Rick's site was hacked Tom and not for the first time. I don't think the Strikemaster was ever released because it wasn't finished.

Hi Guys,

just to clarify, this was a 2002 model that was updated to 2004. Rick lost most of his source for these old models some time ago and has real world commitments that limit his time so I can't see any chance of it ever being released as it wasn't finished. Maybe when he retires he might get back to flight Sim modelling, but he is a very busy guy these days and hasn't much, if any time to be working on flightsim stuff. I'm not meaning to put a downer on things, but just setting some realistic expectation. Its not likely that any developer would be able to dust off a 10 year old model that was never finished, finish it, and release it, even if they did have the source code

Yes.. a good point about having the source code mate. Rick has only really modelled for FSX over the last few years.. I doubt he still has FS9 I used to have a copy of the Strikemaster but a quick looks shows it's not on this pc. I'll be surprised if Rick has a copy now.
