Classic British Flight Sim

That's the last of my old files installed in P3D now. Duxford, A2A Spitfire and A2A B-17. All three installed directly into the Prepar3d folder using the Estonian Virtual FSX tool.

And Accusim is working correctly on both aircraft. Which is more than I can say for the FE on the Boeing who can't even get number one fired up

Is the weather you have in those shots default or is this another REX thingy?

Erm..

I didn't bother firing up REX as I just wanted to confirm installation. But the clouds don't look like default - they look like REX ones so they probably are, despite my not summoning them.

You're dead right there Ian ! Although...I am going to hold off installing ACG's Duxford until FTX England arrives and we see what, if any, compatibility issues there are. I doubt there will be any, but just to make sure, I'll wait. Wonderful to see you have the A2A B-17 working - thats an important add-on aircraft for me

Apart from going to real-world Duxford to see the Vulcan display yesterday this weekend has been taken up with reinstalling FSX and P3D v1.4 too, so I now I have two fresh unsullied installations. I'll get the Estonian Migrator tomorrow and see how it works. I might actually start with the Iris Vulcan, thinking about it.

Yes, those pictures look really good !

I think I'm going to pass on the FTX. While it looks superb, at high altitude or high speed, the VFR stuff is closer to what you'd really see so all of those lovely details will be wasted on me. I think my next purchase will be the UK2000 EGLL V3 and or the VFR for southern Scotland... If only they'd covered NI when they did the other bits of Ireland

Indeed Ben, it all depends on whether you fly high or low. Myself, I prefer the lower levels, so FTX is perfect for that. And come FTX England, I'm looking forward to taking Dave G's Auster or Rapide for a tour. I'm thinking Duxford to Stapleford, then over to Booker, then Popham and Old Sarum .

That sounds like a nice little run Paul. The only slow stuff I do is taking the Rapide from Newcastle or Eshott down to South Shields and landing on The Lees (Where the Great North Run finishes)
