Hi Brian,
Absolutely brilliant, no wonder it took 600 hours!
Thanks for posting,
Cheers,

Simply stunning!
I used to work for companies who designed and built conveyor systems for the car industry.
That model had multiple examples of full size machines I am familiar with including robots, 'walking beams' and 'climbers'.

600hrs! Lightweights. Either that or they didn't have enough volunteers to build it!

That rings a bell. Looked it up on Google, and I don't recognize it as something I ever had, but I must know the name Bayko from somewhere. When I was very young, I remember plastic cylinders with rows of holes and pegs running down the length, with a peg at one end and a hole at the other - can't remember what they were called, and I cant imagine them being much good for building anything other than maybe a multi-coloured log raft.

That is very cool,
I worked for LEGO as a designer for 7 years in both Denmark and the UK, they are really good at supporting projects like this and on request do help out and send a lot of free elements (bricks).
LEGO are are on fire right now, perhaps I should go back there as I am sure their bonuses are great! But in honesty after they got rid of their two Citation's it wasn't as much fun flying back to the UK from Billind by Maersk air to Gatwick as it was into Farnborough, lol.
