Mountains, no bikes

Or tractors. Took a week to drive up to Glacier National Park in Montana, as well as a day's side trip to Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta. Ended up taking far too many pictures, as you do. Had to make due with a point and shoot as I realized about three hours after leaving home I left the good camera home.
These were all in the park proper - it's a breath-taking spot.

Me (on the left) and my housemate - the lake below really was that blue. The elevation difference between us and the lake was about 1100 feet at that point.

Felt kind of like a Hobbit on the way to Mordor this day...

The side trip to Alberta:

Montana can be very flat too.

Devil's Tower in Wyoming:

The Badlands of South Dakota:

We drove this time around, but 13 hours each way is a fair hoof. Might have to fly out next time.
Thanks for looking,
Chris
