RAF Film

Post by dodger »

Hi Chaps,

I know there are lots of films on the net about aircraft but i came across this film about the RAF and it has my two favorite aircraft ,the Hunter and the Javelin,

I used to live near West Malling airfield in Kent in my Teens and most nites would hear the distinct sound of the Javelin night fighters taking off at about 23.00, anyway as i like to fly Alphasim's EE Lightning on the sim this film says that the Lightning was very near coming into front line service, the film was made in 1959, just look at the end at that Flight Simulator!

if you are interested in the Lightning try this site http://lightningpilots.com/

If you have the time to watch it, settle down with your tea or coffee and enjoy.

Cheers,

Roger.
