Isn't that the hardly ever seen Hawker Hedgehog at the back? Designed for the same Air Ministry requirement as the Bouton Paul Defiant it consisted of a Hurricane with a fixed, rear-facing, array of four Browning 303 machine guns operated by the pilot and sighted in the rear view mirror. So secret no one ever heard about it until now....

If God had meant us to fly, he would have given us tickets.
My wife found an online account of the garden party and it listed some (but not all) of the missing aircraft that were in attendance.
The seagull-like bird in the middle is a 'Fairy Fulmar', the 'Dragonfly' is spitting fire so we have the 'Spitfire', the guy in armour is a 'Gladiator' and the bird next to him is a 'Dove'.
Most of the other listed aircraft have been covered above. Things I cannot identify yet include the guy next to the gladiator (a 'Porter' perhaps?), the small animal under the gladiator's arm and the significance of the house in the middle (Wisley Manor maybe?)

Going on the interweb is cheating!
With reference to the 'official' answers in the back of the programme the interweb is not entirely correct
It would be nice to have the link from your wife
