For some of us at least at 02:00 Sun
Just a reminder not so much for that, but to not be surprised when you first power up FS afterwards and it starts rebuilding scenery indexes

Most times though the FS thingy causes someone to think

Since they messed Summer Time around in Canuckistan to fall in line with the USA we don't go back until next weekend.
Roll on the Winter Solstice (I don't do any of that other stuff that goes on around that time) and the days can start getting longer again!

Oh yes I like the winter solstice.
matters not how cold and dark it is...it's gonna get better.
But I don't like this time of year as it seems all there is to do is look back and scan around and see everything decaying. Wouldn't be so bad if there was nice sunshine to bring out the brown leaves.
Still try to make the best of it but it aint easy

This period, from around the end of September through to Christmas, is my favourite time of year. I think it stems from my childhood days, and all the things to look forward to ( playing outside in the dark, birthday, bonfire night, Xmas prezzies etc ). Its carried over into my adult life; even now that first little chill in the air and the lengthening misty evenings still give me a feeling of great pleasure. You can keep the bone-aching cold of dreary January and February of course, but I love the autumn.

Well.. I woke up this morning and looked at the clock..8:05. Dived out of bed and headed for the loo (as you do) and the missus was in there

Sat waiting patiently on the bed.. the door opened and in she walked.. 'all the clocks are wrong'! They were indeed.. I'd forgot to change them before I went to bed

She'd just come off nights and noticed straight away!
Nice to know it was only 7:05 but the downside.. I'm not looking forward to it being dark by around 1630

Dave as you are into RC,might I suggest buying a radio controlled clock? We got one for the kitchen some years ago and not only is it always accurate to the second,it self corrects at this time of the year and in spring. I suppose that when or if analogue broadcasting stops that will be that.It would be no good using DAB as reception is about 2 seconds behind transmission as can be verified by listening to the same station on an analogue and a DAB radio at the same time! I suppose someone will find a way round that problem if there is a demand for it.

Actually.. I have a radio controlled watch. It's the timepiece I keep all the others in the house in time with. THAT was on time
