I was looking at this recent picture of the new QinetiQ/ETPS RJ100 taken at Leuchars.

Anyway, the thing that struck me was that the outer ring of the roundel appears too thin. Is this an example of dodgy signwriting or a deliberately "civilianised" roundel? Otherwise, it does look quite smart. The colours of the stripe are somewhat reminiscent of the old British United blue/gold combination.

Similar to the 'Gold leaf' BOAC livery? Very smart, I like it.

We're lucky the Roundel/flash are on at all, in these days of military/civvie collaboration.

I think that's only to enable it to test fly uncertified equipment otherwise it would probably be pure civil :worried:

Brilliant Dave! Thanks for doing this one  I've been flying the QW one loads over the past few days as it now works with Windows 8 and I reckon its the best Payware aircraft I've ever bought. :excited:

Still needs a bit of tweaking. Can't find out if it has roundals on the wings. All the pics in the net that show the underside were taken while it was still civil registered, with the stripes & ETPS logos but no roundals or fin-flash.
