Manchester Air Park

I've spent today with cadets from my ATC Squadron having the Technical Tour of Concorde and a Nimrod at Manchester Airport.
Well worth a visit, even if it is a little expensive (with no discount for cadets, which in my honest opinion, is a bit poor).
The two chaps doing the tour were absolute mines of information and had a real passion for Concorde which really came across.
The cadets loved it almost as much as me!
The access to Concorde is great. Up close and personal. A seat in the cabin whilst the history of the individual aircraft is recounted (GBOAC) and then 5-10 minutes in the cockpit in small groups with photo time and as many questions as you could ever think of.
If you're in the area, book in. Not much else to look at though, a Trident which was nice and an Avro RJ but that's it. It is right next to the taxyways and runway though so you can see whats going on.
