Classic British Lego (Using LDD)

Inspired by someone's recent post of a lot of (real world) aircraft modelled in Lego, I decided to dust off Lego Digital Designer (having found out how to unlock all the other bricks) and had a go at creating some stuff. The nature of Lego is that when modelling anything from the real world you have to be a bit imaginative with the available parts and caricature whatever it is you are trying to model rather than the normal levels of incredible detail and accuracy we are used to around these parts

Anyway, in that spirit, I won't name any aircraft or places featured in the following pics and leave you to guess. I hope no one says "B747?"

I think I recognised a Tiggie (yellow) and a Rapide. Heaven help us.. I'll never look at either in the same light again

They look a bit familiar to me  Nice work Toby.

Don't suppose that prog has an export facility? Would be quite amusing to have those in FS :fly:

Hi Dave,

There are a number of (albeit still proprietary-looking) export options and I've found some information on converting them to more common formats here:

Let me know if you're interested and if you can make it work, I can send the models over.

Mrs T has my deepest sympathies

Personally.. I don't like to use my imagination more than is necessary. I like to see something as IS
