For those who don't know, according to a 5,125 year-long calendar made by the Mayan civilization, the world is coming to an end on the 21st of this month.

People are laying in supplies, or planning to meet alien rescue craft on a French mountain and stuff. I'm fully prepared; all my payware downloads are backed up. Actually, its a good job it wasn't a 5,125 year long aviation calendar because they'd probably have run out of different types to photograph.
Dave G...can you hurry it up a little with the Mosquito ?

Do you happen to know if the end's coming in the morning or the afternoon of the 21st?
Only I wanted to book a pedicure.

I would imagine just past midnight, Ian. You and your pedicurist will be atoms by then.

I wouldn't be that worried, the last calendar I had stopped on the 31st of December 2010, haven't trusted one since...

Makes me laugh the people stocking up on essentials, candles and the like and buying survival huts.
If it doesn't happen then they've wasted their money, if it does happen then total destruction and they've wasted their money.
In that case why not just waste money on something you actually like and can do now...just in case

On the plus side there may well be a glut of cheap, barely used, second hand generators on the market in January much like there was back in 2000!

Like some FTX scenery, Garry?
Must check ORBX and see if they have any "Try before you die" offers!

Trouble is, on as real as it gets FS you might find the world dissappears on the 21st

It will still be an improvement on the default scenery.
