World of AI is closing on April 30th. So there's plenty of notice to download any packages you haven't got and store them somewhere safe. They'll be pulling all their files from Avsim and Flightsim on that date.

Cheers Ian,
That is a shame, but to go and delete their files from the hosting sites beggars belief. Very harsh IMHO.

I like World of AI and I'll use it for a few years yet before it gets too out of date. At the moment I've only got the packages required for two or three areas but I've decided to take the plunge and download EVERY package to keep as a resource in case I want to expand. So, I've got until April.
It's now dawning on me that there are 523 packages to be downloaded. So far I've downloaded 150 which has taken me three half-hour sessions. So I've still got to spend another three and a half hours sitting in front of a computer mindlessly clicking download buttons
Question - is anybody else doing the same? If so, perhaps we could share the pain by splitting the work and sharing the downloaded files by DVD? I've been working my way down the list from the top. If anybody else has started doing the same, let me know

I've already done it, unfortunately I've deleted the source files or I could have sent you the lot.

That's what I love about this place. There is always some one to lend his mate a hand.
.... even when they have nothing in it.
Reminds me of Paddy, when his inlaws invited themselves over to his house.
And Paddy told his father inlaw to ring the doorbell with his elbow when he arrives,
"Why ring the doorbell with my elbow", he asked Paddy.
"ya ain't coming empty handed, are ya"?!

Or the chap that went to B&Q for a door.
When told the price was £100, he refused to pay it as, "They are only £65 at Jewsons.
The sales assistant told him to go to Jewsons then, to which he replied, "I've been there, but they are out of stock."
The assistant came back with, "Well when we are out of stock, ours will be £65 as well!!!"
