Hi guys,

Not sure if this clip has been posted before, but I'll post it anyway as its rather good. :)

Footage of the ex-Channel Express Herald on its ferry flight to Elvington.

The only Herald I've ever boarded. B-)

Ah yes and years ago I wrote and corrected him and he thanked me but not updated

The Herald was not the last Handley Page aircraft...it wasn't even an HP design really but an HPR (which was Miles) design, but the last HP aircraft was the Jetstream.

Funny how Elvington Herald sounds like a newspaper.

Thanks for the link Eddie

Ah Papa November. Been on this old girl many times when I was a traffic officer for Servisair at Blackpool in the late 70s.

Heralds have a fire extinguisher just above the forward crew door, which, when you put your foot up on the door sill, grabbed hold of the edge and pulled youself in, was the cause of many a headache!
