Alphasim Cat

Post by dodger »

Hello,

Can anyone help, i would like to install my F9 Alphasim PBY Catalina into fsx, i have tried it but the aircraft is squashed up in the cockpit and outside view, Virtavia have released this model now as freeware i see but it is for F9, the same as my model.

I have looked for an update but i can't find one.

Any help would be appreciated,

Cheers,

Roger.

I don't know what happened to this in FSX. Think I binned it when I bought the Aerosoft model.

This might do the trick for you. Have a look in your panel.cfg for this line.. render_3d_window=0

If it says render_3d_window=1 .. change it to 0 (zero). If it says 0 already.. try changing it to 1. Been a while since I fiddled but I think this is the cause :)

I find that changing the last entry in the panel cfg file often sorts out the view, usually the Y value is less than the X file. Try with a Y value similar to the X value.

You're welcome Rog'

You may find a few of the older Alpha models do this.. not all but some.. so you'll know what to do next time it happens ;)
