Hi Dave,

I think you've missed a trick mate

FSX ships are pilotable if you want, but most prefer to strip out the controls and use them as AI so that you can practice finding them and landing on them ;)

our very own Dave Garwood has done more than a few

Ah! Yes, Ships where pilotable in FS9 as they were just models like any other, but they couldn'y normally be used as AI :)

Sorry mate, forgot you were on FS9

Dave, the best ship models for FS9 are by the Japanese modeller Hamaguchi. His website is hard to find but this website will get you one ship and maybe clues to the others...I use his AI ship models for my cruise ships that come in and out of the bay by McLeland Field...Some of them have "Flyable" models:-

If you have trouble getting hold of them I could probably make up a download for you :)

DaveF, Peter..

Just type in Hamaguchi at Flightsim.com (not Hama or HAMA) and pages of his stuff will display. I don't think his site is up and running anymore ;)
