Classic British Flight Sim

Well after 27 years in the Police, 17 of which were spent on the Air Operations Units, I retired from my post and hit civvie street again ;D
My wonderful colleagues gave me this huge oil painting as a leaving present which is hanging in my "office" and every time I look up at it it will bring back some great memories of flying over the big city.
This snap doesn't do it justice really but it will give you a feel of the painting.

That is an awesome picture mate. I bet you're chuffed to bits with it.

You're in a similar position to me when I retired from BA. The pension and my 'relative youth' weren't enough to make retirement attractive. But a job AND a pension - now that does put a spring in your step!

I think the hardest thing to come to terms with was being an outsider, an ex-whatever. None of what I'd achieved or the respect that I was used to receiving counted any more. I didn't have the uniform, badge or ID that showed people my position
