Cameron has said that as long as he is Prime Minister, the Red Arrows will not be axed

Well.. he's said a lot of things.. don't they all

Do we all vote Tory next time to 'guarantee' the Reds future or vote Labour because we think they'd not get rid anyway

No one ever keep promises into their term
All this means is that they won't be axed while he is PM...unless he changes his mind

Lol at least the Pope did not make the same reassurance about their continued existance during his "premiership".

Oh look, it's almost the new financial year, and in shock news the Dead Sparrows are up as a potential cost saving. As they are every year, as in fact is everything else in the defence budget.
It's like Daily Mail readers have the same memory span as goldfish...

Well well well......Cameron being the big boss has made us all another promise, now, what was the other one?

Oh yes, I remember............vote me in
AGAIN and I will allow each one of you a vote on the EU!!!
I suppose he is giving up his precious time in thinking about Britain and not the welfare of other countries for once!!
Politicians.....don't you just love 'em!!
Nigel.

I should bleedin' hope so considering they are currently based at Cranwell to allow the repair of Scampton's runway. I think it's an easy thing for DC to say. He knows (or someone's told him) that the actual decision can be left to the government in 2015/16, as that is when the decision over the airframe will need to be made. For the sake of a fairly trivial £9m a year over the next couple of year, why incur the wrath of the people (and the Daily Mail and Mirror).
