I just heard that Kenny Ball passed away today. He was an English Jazzman and lead trumpet player in Kenny Ball and his Jazzman. I remember him because I brought the 45rpm (Google it kids) of “Midnight in Moscow” in 1962. That was a hit on both sides of the pond, in fact was one of the very first English acts to have a top ten hit in the Colonies, long before The Beatles, Acker Bilk and Frank Ifield had hits here. RIP Kenny and condolences to your family and friends.

I liked Kenny Ball and 'Midnight in Moscow' was one of my faves too. Sad to see him go.
