One of the reasons I love reading The Times is the superb quality (subject matter) of their photographs. There are two in today's iPad edition that I just have to share with you.
Front Page: Chris Huhne arriving at court for sentencing.
The Household Cavalry in the Mall yesterday

Hi Ian,
That just about says it all about the paparazzi, i watched them all yesterday on the tv news fighting for photo's as Chris Huhne arrived at court but why we should be interested in something that took place 10 years ago i just don't know!
That photo Ian of the The Household Cavalry is a cracker
Thanks for posting,
Roger.

Hi Roger. I'm not interested in what he did 10 years ago either but I was very interested to see his fall yesterday for perverting the course of justice. The man was guilty of an offence but when revealed he denied it through years of lying, forcing the CPS to spend nearly £90k of our money in bringing a prosecution which was then scrapped when he finally admitted it. The man was an MP and a cabinet minister and, as such, was responsible for making the law for all of us. I hate their arrogance in thinking that they are above the law and that their 'importance' relegates it to a nuisance for them.
He deserves his punishment but I feel sorry for his family - especially his son having to suffer the public revelations of how his father wanted him aborted because another child would inconvenience his career. What a b*st*rd! I hope that camera lens hurt his nose.
Sorry
