Hybrid/Early 1-11's
Firstly, Greetings everyone, first post in this brilliant forum with some screenshots of recent repaint work on David's BAC1-11.
Having looked through the available coverage for this brilliant aircraft, I recently came across a handful of oddball hybrid liveries for the Ryanair old frames that I have taken the liberty of reproducing and making available through Avsim. These are posted below and are taken in FS9. I admit, they are pretty bland, but they did at one time operate as such.
Im not really a stranger to repainting FS9 (and previous versions) aircraft 99% for my own use but occasionally release the odd one or two.
Just thought I would share with all and especially the chaps that are responsible for giving this old fella thousands of hours virtual flying in the classic jets for almost a decade.
If there are "any" 1-11's that havent been already covered (most unlikely I know) I should be very grateful for any information with regards to these if that is possible.
I will keep looking for the odd one or two that may turn up through old photos on the net
Best Regards
David James

Nice job DJ
Welcome to the forums
I think there are a few gaps in th later African liveries and not all the military use in the UK has been covered I think.
I'm sure those here who want them will jump at the chance of getting them

Hi David
I can only echo what's been said before. It's always good to see new paints and these.. as bland as they may be.. are just the ticket

Vast majority of the corporate 1-11s are missing. There were a hell of a lot of Saudi registered ones that were seen all over Europe.
Good work. Already downloaded from Avsim

Once you get into corporates, there are a lot that can be done.
I did a few buy that side was not something that interested me so much, so I didn't pursue it deeply.
I did a half dozen maybe, but I don't think many others have been done by anyone else
The very later one though with the next generation hush-kits don't have a model for them.

Hi David,
great repaints - great shots, many thanks!!
Well, the last 1-11s operating in passenger service haven't been repainted yet. I admit their liveries are not very colourful.
But if you would want to pay some attention to these - you would cover the very last period of that great aircraft in passenger service...

The SCAT aircraft was actually operated by Kazakh carrier Trast Aero.
They operated two 500 series aircraft, one was painted all white, the other one was blue. Sadly I don't find any pictures and at the moment I don't have too much time for research.
But here's an interesting story of an enthusiast flying SCAT in 2007...

Air Malawi would go nice with DM's VC10. Philippine Airlines was quite a big user, and for the UK, Ford!
