Cheers Troops :hello: This is one birthday of the year I never highlight

Dinner this afternoon with my Aunt and Uncle round their house but otherwise, nothing else planned. I feel old at 56.. moreso than at 55. It's another one of those ages where you jump up a band.. 46-55, 56-65 :( This time last year, I was looking forward to being a bus driver but when the time acutally came (September!!!) I'd lost interest and hated driving the bus. This year, I've something a little different to look forward to.. I start at Sainsbury's in Cannock next Tue as an online groceries delivery driver so start ordering your stuff online Nige! This is the best present I could have and I'm chuffed I'll be earning again soon ;)

Have a very happy one & have a double celebration to include the job acquisition.
As for being a young 56, my next one is 75, now thats when you start feeling old & the body aches is nowhere as fast as ones brain.......

Cheers Mate

A few more thoughts have occured to me since my last post. This time last year I was yaffling at the bit to get my shiney new Champ in the air and it was peeing down so I didn't actually get to fly it for a day or so later. 5 models and plenty of glue later.. it's sunny outside, we still have snow where the sun hasn't caught it, there was a good frost last night and it's zero deg outside  I'm at the hospital on Mon to be measured up for my first hearing aid as while the op on the right lugole was a success (as far as the hospital is concerned) the freqs I've got back are not the ones I need for speech. With any luck.. this time next year I'll have had the left lugole fixed and I hope the results are better ;)

Thanks for that Keith. I can't imagine how grumpy I'll be at 75.. that's assuming I get that far cause at the moment, I don't feel like I will
