Sods law....

Just back from a bracing walk on the cliffs above Filey Brig. Had my own air display for 15 minutes or so.

Sea King on rescue exercise. Touched down about 150 yards away and dropped off a "body" to rescue, the crabbed over the sea to let the "victim" get in place on the path down to the Brig.

Following several winchings at varying heights they departed for Lecce. I was very impressed by the skills shown as there is a hell of a wind along up there.

The soods law bit is that for once, I had left my camera at home.

Graham

I'd have liked to seen a pic of the winches they was hauling up.

:hide:

Recently I was tracking a very high fly object. while trying to locate it in the view finder, a tiny meteorite shot through my field of view.!
I must have sounded like a school boy exclaiming... oh my God , did you see that , did any- body .. see - that :|

It was just me who seen it. :wasntme:

It was a nice treat to see it. Especially being in the city.
Pic or not, I'll remember.

:)
