Thanks for posting that link, Nick. It was really good to see that clip again - we used to use it in the Communications module of our TRM (the ATC equivalent of the airlines' CRM) courses back in 2005.

The UK CAA once did a survey indicating that around 80% of aircraft within the UK ATC system at any one time were crewed by those for whom English was not their mother-tongue and light-hearted clips like this were a great way to get some very serious points across.
