Totally amazed that the registration authority allowed such a visual obstruction and pedestrian-endangering protrusion.
At one stage, they even banned 4WDs with bull bars from the City of Melbourne.

I'm thinking there may be a hood ornament violation here. :dunno:

"Mascot likely to cause injury" is the offence you're looking for!

Looks like a Ford Probe to me - a forgotten car if ever there was one

I think its actually the cougar, the short lived replacement for the probe.

Ah, yes, you are quite right , Ben . It was actually rather better looking than the Probe ( not very difficult)

PS shouldn't there be an E on the driver's door to match up with ARS ?

I hadn't realised it's for sale!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321142667672? ... 1567694986

Seller says the hood ornament is easily removed so as not to "freak out the MOT tester". Yes it's in need of an MOT.
