Very strange. Human or mechanical lapse? I remember once a long time ago when I lived in Weymouth a ferry went amok and took out a few yachts before smashing up and totalling a marina. Apparently that was a non-human cause.

What was the wind like?

It's been very gusty around the coast in most of the UK?

Its choppy Garry, but not that bad. Remember these guys do this in gales in the winter, day in day out, so I'd think it was either a mechanical problem or someone else will be collecting their P45 on Monday morning

Not so bad there then...in some areas it is as bad as the winter, very rough seas and gale force winds.

He hit quite hard so do doesn't look like wind which a sudden gust from a different direction can catch them out any time of year. :worried:
