Sexy sentries?

Heard on the radio yesterday that a distant town was celebrating with 150 sexy sentries. 
Jumped in the van with camera, and headed over.
Too late, it seemed, not a scantily-dressed female guard in sight!
There were only a few flags left, plus some posters.
They couldn't even spell it right - "sesquicentenary", they pronounced..Bunch of country bumpkins!
