Summer's Still With Us

A few more pics from north of the border during this beautiful summer.We drove over to the motorway sevices at Stirling to meet up briefly with my lovely sister and her husband who were driving up from near Loughborough to Granton on Spey for a short holiday.
After they left we went into Stirling itself.
The first three were taken yesterday(Saturday) around the grounds of Stirling castle and the next three around the street market in town.Picture 2 shows the statue of King Robert The Bruce looking out over Bannockburn.A bit of a sore point with us English
The rest were taken today in Edinburgh.The light today was almost Merditerranean at times.Not quite as hot as recently but very pleasant with a refreshing breeze.
One of my favourite shops,Ian Mellis,cheesemonger.
