Boeing 787 Identification At Altitude

Post by Garry Russell »

Well, it had to happen someday :hide: ...I finally have seen the beast overflying. I have sought therapy for the visual shock and maybe, one day I may make a recovery. :worried: :-O

For those interested in looking out for them overflying they are very distinct.

Non trailing it has a fattish bird like look and the bent wing is really quite obvious and very different in shape from The A.320 I saw it flying alongside.

It also has a distinct trail...the A.380 and 340 have four separate trails from behind the wing whereas the 747 has two pair of two merging into two trails The conventional twins have two separate trails with little difference between the big and small Airbuses and Boeings apart from size

The 787 has a single trail, dark grey with a bluish tinge, sometimes almost black, coming from the rear fuselage :worried: 8)
