Funny how some see different things

When it was down for a long time, until Rob actually rebuilt it I could still see it.

I could navigate and even download and did so for someone here and re linked.

If I tried to post I was getting the error everyone else was.

Therfore I did wonder if this was the same again...I could see it but not everyone. *-)

However all seems cools. :excited:

TBH, you are collecting cr@p all the time so it's no real surprise when somethings fails, annoying yes, but not really unexpected.

Hmm, it never disappeared for me, but I had a lot of issues with the file search function and actually finding files.

Haven't been along for a few days or so, so I'll go and look again tomorrow.

edit - working just fine here :)

Anyone having problems logging on to Britsim the last few days?
I cannot get into the registered users forum, just get the Home page which will not remember me, can get the files page to open, but only get the shortform forum page if I'm lucky, before it times out to a 500 error.
From some automated e-mails sent to me, it looks as if the site is under attack from spambots from IP's in China with hotmail addresses. Dave Moly does not seem to have this problem.

[edit] why doesn't the smilie show! Help!)

Interesting....having just posted the above I can now get into the Admin section of Britsim!!! Murphys Law? Not that it helps me very much on the spambots but nice to know it seems to be working.

Having managed to connect that last time I find it must have been a fluke as I have been unable to get into the registered users part at all!
I wonder if there is an overload situation similar to what happened with simouthouse a little while ago. Unfortunately there is nowt I can do about it....
