Prompted by Roger's recent post,I thought you might like this one from 1959.No matter how many times I watch this it still creases me.What a comic genius we had in the late Peter Sellers.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for that and yes you are right when you say "what a comic genius we had in the late Peter Sellers".
There are so many things he did but the ones with Sophia Loren were great, they seemed to get on very well together,
Cheers,
Roger.

Oh Eric you have just caused me to delay my dinner by a half hour! Thanks! I started to explore the many links to Peter Sellers amd found some real gems. I just finished The Complete Guide to Accents of The British Isles which is hillarious and shows how versatile Sellers was. I shall have to return later to watch some more.

Pretty funny, guys!
Strange thing is, in broad terms, comedy seems to age somewhat faster than music. For its day, it certainly would have been a riot.
I think so many people copied the style and updated it, that the originals seem a little unsophisticated, just like hearing some of "The Shadows" early work; so basic compared to later sounds.
Thanks for the HU!
